• Mark: WHY ARE YOU THINKING ABOUT THAT TERRIBLE MOVIE?
• Me: I DON'T KNOW. I think Val Kilmer yelling "Harvey, I'm Batman" during the circus scene in Batman Forever is pretty terrible.
• Mark: Obviously. I'm just surprised you remember that. It is very terrible. "Harvey. I'm Batman. I'm Batman." And no one in the crowd is like "really? You're Batman?"
• Me: Right?! And Nicole Kidman is RIGHT THERE. Nobody could hear him over the panic!
• Mark: The whole thing is sooooo stupid. Nicole Kidman as Dr. Chase Meridian.
• They say Batman & Robin is the worst, but Batman Forever is pretty pretty pretty bad
• Oh man! Now i'm remembering all the stupid shit in that movie! It's all coming rushing back!
• Me: Mr. E. Mystery? What's another word for mystery? Enigma. E. Nygma! DR. EDWARD NYGMA!
• Mark: How about when Dr. Chase Meridian tells Batman she has feelings for someone else, and when Batman turns around to leave you see Val Kilmer's big stupid grinning face!
• DO YOU REMEMBER THAT????
• Me: Yes! I've met someone. You could say he just... dropped out of the sky... That's when he asked her to go rock climbing. ROCK CLIMBING! Ugh.
• Mark: UGH. OR!!!!!! Sadly this one doesn't involve Nicole Kidman as Dr. Chase Meridian; there's a flashback to when Harvey Dent has acid thrown in his face in the courtroom and BATMAN IS SITTING IN THE COURTROOM IN COSTUME! BECAUSE IT'S OKAY FOR A MASKED VIGILANTE TO JUST, YOU KNOW, HANG.
• Me: LOL! Yes.
• Mark: "Hang out in a lot of biker bars, Bruce?" K, bro. your stupid acrobat family was just murdered. Don't stay with me in my mansion if you don't want to. "That's my hearing aid!"
• UGH! that movie is so bad
• Me: But clearly we have both seen it more than once.

I was obsessed with the Drive soundtrack for about a month after seeing the movie. I kind of forgot about it until a couple of weeks ago.

I have been listening to it so much that I have fallen asleep to it a few times. This has lead to some gnarly, rage-filled dreams. So it’s been kind of fucking awesome.
